I think this dryer is a great deal for the money, especially with the added features of the retractable cord, folding handle and multiple speed settings. This was my first ionic/ceramic hair dryer and I was not disappointed. There is a real difference from the old style dryers - namely the air coming out is not as hot yet it dries in about the same amount of time or less. While I haven't tried it yet during the humid summer months when my hair frizzes out, right now my hair is unbelievably smooth after drying. I like to use this dryer with my Solia straightener which is also takes away every ounce of frizz. Where were these amazing hair products when I was a teenager??

This dryer's retractable cord is wonderful for keeping clutter out of the bathroom or wherever you store your dryer when not in use. The heat settings are high-medium-low, plus there's a cool button for a shot of cool air when you're styling. But what I like best is the low setting which is fantastic for my fine hair. It's warm enough to dry the hair but minimizes the stress and damage that the heat of most dryers inflicts. Word to the wise to prolong the life of the cord, it's easy enough to quide it gently with the other hand when you press the retract button - keeps it from snaping back. Overall an excellent choice for an all-purpose dryer and the price can't be beat.

I must be the last human being on earth to discover that the ceramic, ionic technology is available on low and moderate-priced hair dryers. I used one of these dryers on a recent business trip to Phoenix. When my old Revlon finally bit the dust, I started my online hair dryer research and was amazed to learn that this great hair dryer was available at such a low price. I've had it about 6 weeks and it has completely lived up to my expectations. It keeps my thick medium-length slightly wavy frizzy hair looking sleek and sassy in 5-10 minutes. I still have to use a flatiron to get a really "finished" look most days, but I think that's just due to my hair's particular quirks and not because the hairdryer is inadequate. My only complaint is that it is rather heavy; I didn't notice it in the hotel, but now at home it does seem a bit weighty. Other than that, it's an exceptional dryer for the money.

I researched hair dryers prior to making my purchase because this is something I rely on very seriously and need it to work and do a good job. I was replacing a very cheap and extremely annoying hair dryer I have had as a back up. I have not been disappointed. It has a nice feel, is not annoyingly noisy and does a great job. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quality dryer.
